Skill Requirements:
Education: Not required Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Driver's Licence (Class 1 or A), H2S (Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness) Training, First Aid Certificate Experience: Will train Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English Type of Trucking and Equipment: Tractor-trailer, Liquid bulk Type of Travel: Long-haul, Provincial/territorial Documentation Knowledge: Driver logbook, Bill of lading, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Maintenance and repair reports Communication Equipment Experience: Cellular phone, Satellite tracking (GPS) equipment Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Specific Skills: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Loading and unloading of goods, Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo, Plan travel schedules and routes, Receive and relay information to central dispatcher, Pay and receive payments for goods, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment Security and Safety: Driving record check (abstract), Drug test Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence Work Location Information: Staff accommodation provided Essential Skills: Oral communication, Working with others, Job task planning and organizing, Continuous learning
Other Information: NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY ,WILL TRAIN HAULING CRUDE OIL WITH TRI AXLE TRAILER IN LLOYDMINSTER VERMILION AND ELKPOINT AREA. ACCOMMODATIONS AVAILABLE LMO MAY BE OFFERED
